The event held on Saturday 21st of November at the Albert Halls was a big success. Over 300 people supported their local charities through the purchase of Chrismas cards and gifts. 34 charities participated at the event and were not only able to publicise their good causes but raise much needed funds. A rough estimate of monies raised at this time is £6000. Previous years have been more productive however many charities are struggling financially due to the credit crunch.
Big thankyou to Linda at CVS Stirling for all her hard work in organising this event for over a decade.
Yes, this was a great event with a great atmosphere. It's been going so long our local charities tend to take it for granted, and forget all the hard work that goes into it.
